I am an Economist working across the Poverty, Macro and Governance Global Practices at the World Bank. My research has been featured in internationally renowned media outlets, such as the New York Times, the Economist and the BBC, published in leading academic journals, including the American Economic Journal: Economic Policy, Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization and Economic Development and Cultural Change and cited over 1500 times (see my Google Scholar page).

Prior to joining the World Bank as a Young Professional, I held a position as a Research Fellow (equivalent of an Assistant Professor) at the Australian National University and have consulted for a range of organisations, including the Asian Development Bank, UNICEF, Innovations for Poverty Action, the Overseas Development Institute and the Australian Government.
